The brother of rapper Nicki Minaj, Jelani Maraj has been charged with the rape of a 12-year-old girl.
The 37-year-old is facing first degree rape charges and first degree course of sexual conduct with a child.
He was arrested on December 1, 2015 for the incident, which allegedly occurred on April 1, 2015.
The Nassau County Correctional Centre have confirmed he was released on $100,000 bail bond and is due back in court on December 9.
Maraj recently got married to Jacqueline Robinson in Baldwin, New York in August.
