The 34-year old R&B/Pop singer, Nick Cannon has recently carved a niche for himself in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most selfies in an hour. He was able to achieve this feat of taking pictures of himself after receiving lessons in how to take the speediest snaps.
Before his world record feat, Cannon spoke exclusively with New York Daily News where he explained: ‘I did have some selfie training. My friends at Samsung first of all, they showed me the best way, the quickest way to increase the way to take a selfie is with the new Samsung.’
The ‘America’s Got Talent’ host took part in the Guinness World Record attempt as part of Samsung’s #DITCHtheDSLR campaign, breaking the existing record.
Cannon, together with ‘Rock of Ages’ actress Julianne Hough; snapped a whopping 283 consecutive selfies, exceeding the previous record which was almost 279.
The father of two who separated from his wife of six years, Mariah Carey, in August,2014 is now among the world record holders together with Hough and as a result $50,000 has been donated to Habit for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles by Samsung to celebrate the duo’s latest achievement
