A new Executive Council (Exco) has emerged for All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state.
The Exco was selected via a consensus and ratification by members of the party in the state’s capital, Osogbo with former secretary of the party, Gboyega Famodun heading the Exco.
Governor Rauf Aregbesola, who spoke at the inauguration of the Exco urged the new party leaders to ensure that all fabrications and falsehood being propagated by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are dispelled.
He also said that the party should begin work in earnest to make sure that the PDP does not get up to 10% of votes in elections to be held in the state in 2015 so as to prove to the world that the state was committed to the APC and sound leadership.
