Screenwriter, Kenya Barris who is the brain behind popular American sitcom, Black-ish is planning a massive project. A new ABC sitcom is on the way and Kenya is reported to have it based on power-couple, John Legend And Chrissy Teigen.
Singer, John and his model wife, Chrissy are known for their all loved-up Instagram photos, romantic music videos and public display of affection. Kenya (41) plans to have John(36) and Chrissy (29) on board as producing partners.
The sitcom is tentatively titled Ordinary People and is named after John Legend’s 2004 Grammy Award winning song.
If everything goes as planned, filming of the project can begin in February 2016. Speaking about the prospective project, Barris said:
“It will be about an interracial couple. We don’t know what’s going to be what. But it will be a part of the show in terms of showing those two world’s colliding and coming together — their issues and their obstacles that their personal relationship.”
“Hopefully, it will become something we can all be proud of,”
Fans of the couple will be hoping and praying that this comes to reality.
