Wreckage of the US military helicopter that wet missing during the 7.3 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 while delivering aid near the Chinese border carrying eight people including six US marines and two Nepali soldiers, have been found according to Nepalese army.
According to AFP agency reports, Major General Binoj Basnet said they did not know if there were any survivors yet. The Nepal Times editor, Mr, Kunda Dixit in his Twitter page said the wreckage had been found about 56km from Kathmandu. The wreckage was discovered today Friday, May 15.

The US marines have been working in Charikot, a village that was hit hard by the quake. The helicopter had been flying from Kathmandu airport as part of the ‘Sahayogi Haat’ US operation which means ‘helping hand’ in Nepali.
