Former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has honoured the invitation of the State Security Services (SSS).
The agency had invited El-Rufai for questioning following provocative statements accredited to him, which speaks of violence that may occur if the 2015 general elections are not conducted free and fair.

After failure to show up for questioning, men from the SSS visited the former ministers home to pick him up. El-Rufai was not in his home at the time of their visit.

The SSS secured a warrant for El-Rufai’s arrest which made him to show up at the agencies office for questioning.
El-Rufai went to the SSS headquarters on Monday January 27th 2014 in the company of the Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, and Sen. Chris Ngige.
