National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS) on Monday, March 31, 2014 besieged office of the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola in Alausa, Ikeja to protest hike in school fees at the Lagos State University (LASU).
Led by their South-West Coordinator, Mr. Sunday Ashefun, members of NANS barricaded the entrance to the governor’s office, urging him to reduce the Universities school fees to the barest minimum with immediate effect.
The students called on the Federal Government to honour 2010 agreements entered with Academic Staff Union of Colleges of Education (COASU) and Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic(ASUP).
