A man from Burma (Myanmar) has reportedly confessed to killing two British tourists at a holiday island in Thailand.
The unnamed suspect was said to have killed 23-year old Hannah Witheridge and 24-year old David Miller in Koh Tao, a tourist island in Thailand.
Police had promised the sum of about £13,000 to anybody with useful information on the whereabouts of the suspect. with a full inquest to take place on 6 January, according to BBC.
Millers burial is scheduled to hold on Friday, October 3, 2014, with his family requesting privacy in advance
Ian, Sue and Michael Miller said via statement: “We have been overwhelmed by the breadth and depth of support provided to us by so many here in Jersey and also by people far away. We were also particularly touched by the vigil and prayers held by good people on Koh Tao.”
On their part, Witheridge’s family said: “Our family is broken and require time to grieve in private – as do Hannah’s many friends.”
