Murtala Nyako Reacts To EFCC Declaring Him And His Son Wanted

Must read

Impeached goovernor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 reacted to the reports of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), declaring him and his son wanted for money laundering and other crimes.

Nyako described the claims by EFCC as the “last kicks of a dying horse”, as President Jonathan, will soon be voted out of office.

The former governor, who made this known in a statement through his media assistant, Ahmed Sajoh, noted that the Jonathan administration is jealous of  the unwavering support he is receiving from the people of Adamawa even after he was ousted out of office.

“I am not aware of being declared wanted. But that is good,” Mr. Nyako said.

“If you are wanted by a rouge system, it means you are a good person. Has this government gone after anybody that is bad? They only run after the good people and allow the bad people to roam around them, live happily and enjoy whatever bad things they are doing.”

He also pointed out that Jonathan’s government was worried by the huge turn-out of people during the All Progressives Congress, APC, rally in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

“When the time comes for them to be declared wanted nobody will sympathise with them,” he concluded.
