Bayelsa Senator-elect and entertainment mogul, Ben Murray-Bruce has joined voices with a growing number of concerned Nigerians to condemn the decision by President Muhammadu Buhari to include Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima in his entourage to the G7 summit in Germany.
Speaking via his Twitetr handle, Murray-Bruce stated that it was not in the best interest of Borno State for both President Buhari and Governor Shettima to be out of the country when terror attacks were still on going in the state.

It might not be in the best interest of Borno that both the President and Gov of Borno are abroad while our brothers there are being bombed!

In a related development, Nigerians have also questioned President Buhari’s decision to take former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola to the summit given that he is not a government official. Many others questioned who was sponsoring Fashola’s bills to the event.
