An 18-year-old disabled lady discovered dead inside a partially burnt house with her uterus ripped from her body and her throat slit.
Police officers in Texas have arrested the parents of the deceased girl identified as Holli Jeffcoat, in connection with her death.
The cops alleged that Jeffcoat’s 39-year-old step father, James Holland, raped her several times for over 10 years while his wife, Debi Holland, was said to have helped him commit the crime and cover it up.
The deceased was discovered to be 13-weeks pregnant and had reportedly told school officials that her step father was responsible for the pregnancy ten weeks earlier.
Mr. Holland was charged on three counts of rape but was not charged in Holli Jeffcoat’s death, WWWN reports.
Jeffcoat’s mum is also accused of preventing medical examinations that would have determined that her daughter was being sexually abused.
The arrest warrant links Mrs Holland, to her daughter’s death. The arrest warrants states that the girl was found in a house that was set ablaze in an attempt to hide the gruesome crime, but she claimed she didn’t know what happened to her daughter.
