Chelsea faces Arsenal in the English Premier League on Saturday at Stamford Bridge. The Blues who have lost three out of five premier league games this season beat Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
Despite that convincing win, the Blues still have to deal with some bad news. The scorer of the game’s first goal, Willian will not be available for the match as a result of an injury he picked up against the Israeli team. The Brazilian limped off soon after his goal with a suspected hamstring injury.
Pedro Rodriguez who was not listed in the Champions League match-day squad as a result of a muscle injury will also not be risked on Saturday when the Blues face Arsene Wenger’s side.
Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho offered this injury news after his side beat Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Jose says he will only start thinking about team selection for the Arsenal game tomorrow. He says Willian and Pedro are out for sure. #CFC
