A woman from China referred to as Wang Fang who was born with abnormal hands and feet has surprised doctors with the achievements she has made so far.
Notwithstanding being born with feet that abnormally faced backwards, Fang who hails from Chongqing, China has despised odds by continuing to live her life like every other normal human being. Fang rejected disability pension despite unusual condition because she believes she is not disabled.
Initially, doctors speculated that Fang might have difficulties walking properly due to the abnormality of her feet at birth.
But the waitress, now in her 30s, says she doesn’t even see herself as disabled, Mirror UK reports.
She said: “I can run faster than most of my friends and have a regular job as a waitress in the family restaurant. There is no reason to class me as disabled.”
Fang, who has a son with normal feet, added: “I can walk as well as anyone else and even run faster than them. I’m like everyone else – except of course that I put my shoes on backwards.”
She is among the many others who have conquered disability by making the best of their lives.
