Efforts were made by those present at the scene and the baby was carefully extracted from the pit alive without any harm and also with his placenta uncut.
The Councillor representing the area, Ayoola Kabir, was contacted and proper arrangement was made to take the baby to the hospital for a medical checkup and he was fully revived.
First, the idea of contacting the Police came, but, I considered saving the life of the innocent baby first.
