Former governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko will, on Friday, April 20, 2018 Chair and speak at the Nigeria Education Risk & Governance Summit 2018, holding at the Landmark Towers, Victoria Island, Lagos
The summit, with the theme: ‘Education Learning Strategy, Quality and Child Safeguarding in Nigeria’, is organized by ConradClark, a frontier in Risk Management in the private and public sector across Africa.
In a statement by the Special Assistant on New Media and Digital Communications to the former Governor, John Paul Akinduro, Mimiko is expected to deliver a paper on the topic: “Quality Education – Fundamental right of every Nigerian child”, a topic he would speak passionately about based on his track record in the Ondo state education sector during his 8-years as the state Governor.
The summit will broadly address burgeoning opportunities, new ideas and crippling challenges affecting education services in Nigeria as well as initiate and maintain open discussions on education quality, learning strategy, regulation and children safeguarding in Nigeria.
Other speakers at the summit include the Registrar/CEO of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria- TRCN) Prof Josiah Ajiboye; Honorary Consul of Finland to Nigeria, Consul Kingsley Kolapo Akinroye; the Director General of Quality Assurance, Lagos State Ministry of Education, Ronke Soyombo; Joachim Adenusi of Conradclark and Emma Cundiff of the Institute of Risk Management, UK.
