Michael Jackson’s Daughter Paris Is Engaged to Music Producer

Must read

LOS ANGELES, USA — Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, has announced her engagement to music producer Justin Long.

The couple shared the news on Friday, December 6, 2024, with a series of heartfelt photos of the proposal, giving fans a rare glimpse into their otherwise private relationship.

“Happy birthday my sweet blue,” Paris, 26, wrote in her Instagram post, referring to her fiancé by his nickname.

“Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind, and I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”

Who is Justin Long?

Justin Long, who also goes by “Blue,” is a music producer, mixer, and engineer from California with over a decade of industry experience.

He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including 5 Seconds of Summer, Nickel Creek, and Grace Potter.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Long’s work has contributed to songs that have reached #1 on iTunes in the U.S. and more than 20 other countries.

He has also performed as part of a major-label band and developed a personal habit-tracking app called Dayly.

Long studied at Grace College and Seminary in Indiana before transitioning from marketing into a successful music career.

A Private Relationship

Paris and Justin reportedly began dating in 2022 after working together professionally.

Justin first appeared on Paris’ social media in a group video with her bandmates two years ago.

He has since recorded vocals for her songs, including Blue Moon, and supported her during live performances.

The couple kept their relationship largely out of the public eye, making their engagement announcement a surprise to fans.

Paris has been spotted wearing her engagement ring as early as September during Paris Fashion Week, but the proposal’s details were kept private until now.

Paris Jackson’s Relationship History

Paris has been candid about her past relationships, including her romance with bandmate Gabriel Glenn, which ended in 2021.

She described the breakup as “the deepest heartbreak I ever experienced” during an episode of Red Table Talk.

The singer has also been open about her sexuality, revealing in 2020 that she primarily dates women but prioritises a partner’s personality over gender.

“Never thought I’d end up with a dude,” Paris admitted in an interview.

“I thought I’d end up marrying a chick. … It has nothing to do with what’s in your pants. It’s literally like, what are you like as a person?”

A New Chapter

As Paris and Justin prepare for the next chapter in their lives, fans are celebrating the engagement as a milestone for the multi-talented musician and actress.

Known for her resilience and individuality, Paris has emerged as a prominent artist in her own right while honouring the legacy of her father.

With her fiancé by her side, this latest announcement marks another step forward in her journey.
