Mr Ebikeme Clark
The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) has accused Mr Ebikeme Clark, the son of Chief E.K Clark, of faking his own kidnapping to defraud the state government.
The groups spokesman, Jomo Gbomo, in a statement said it “was actually a clever orchestrated fraud masterminded by Ebikeme who stage-managed his own abduction.”
He went on to say that “the ransom of 500Million Naira was paid by the Delta State Government from its security vote and was shared amongst all those involved in this scam.”
