An 18-year-old man, Mustapha Abdullahi, has been arrested by the Bauchi State Police Command for raping an 8-year-old boy.
According to the command’s spokesperson, DSP Haruna Mohammed, the suspect committed the offence around 4pm on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
He added that police detectives attached to the Dass division arrested Abdullahi in Wandi District in the Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State, according to Punch.
Mohammed said, “The suspect lured an eight-year-old boy and had unlawful carnal knowledge of him against the order of nature. The victim was rushed to the Dass General Hospital for medical examination.
“The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.”
