Many were feared dead as suicide bombers attacked a mosque and a restaurant in Jos, the Plateau State capital in the late hours of Sunday, July 5, 2015.
According to reports, the mosque attack occurred around 9pm while worshipers were listening to Tafsir, a Ramadan lecture in Yantaya, Nasarawa Gwon area, in Jos North Local Government Area of the state.A resident of the town who pleaded anonymity said the second attack happened at a restaurant and was recorded about 10 minutes after the mosque had been attacked.The Police Public Relations Officer for the state, Emmanuel Abuh confirmed both incidents. although the number of casualties is yet to be verified.
