Manchester City has maintained their perfect start to the 2015/2016 premier league season after going away to defeat Everton on Sunday.
The 2-0 victory over the Toffees didn’t come on a platter of gold but it was definitely well earned.
Both teams went into their dressing rooms at half time with the scores at 0-0 after Romelu Lukaku came close to scoring a freekick for the hosts but the ball only cannoned off the bar.
City’s goals came in the second half through Aleksandar Kolarov and Samir Nasri. The first came in the 60th minute when a Raheem Sterling pass was nicely converted by Kolarov from a tight angle. The visitors made it two in the 88th minute with a superb finish from Samir Nasri to win the maximum three points for City.
