A man had allegedly stomped on his pregnant wife’s stomach and also forcefully had sex with her against her wish all in his bid to make her miscarry the foetus.
The 40-year-old man said that it is his right as a father to have the baby aborted since he could not afford to have the baby.
The man who hails from Melbourne was on Monday, January 12, 2015 denied bail by a judge after he was charged in a Melbourne Magistrate’s Court with two counts of assault and two counts of making a death threat.
According to World Wide Weird News, the defendant’s wife was so scared of him to the point that she refused to enter the courtroom when his case was mentioned.
When the pregnant wife declined having sexual intercourse with him perhaps due to her condition, the unidentified man reportedly told her to get used to it as he wouldn’t just stop.
It was also learnt that the woman had been forced on two occasions to abort the baby in the past which she apparently refused to do.
Police said that the defendant had even threatened to kill his wife and teenage son unless she had the baby aborted.
