A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged for allegedly strangling his girlfriend to death while they were having rough sex.
Toby Nicholas Clarke, from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA, risks a jail term as long as 40 years if convicted of the charges of second-degree murder.
Clarke called the Brooklyn Park police to the home which he shared with the deceased identified as Kristina Ambers, and reported the incident but on arrival, the officers found the woman who was not breathing and had no pulse.
The cops disclosed in a report that the 36-year-old woman, had injuries around her neck and arms and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner determined she died from strangulation and during interrogation, Clarke who had been dating Ambers for the past three years, admitted that he put his hands around her neck while they were having rough sex.
Contrarily, Ambers’ friends claimed that the woman was in an abusive relationship with Clarke who is a convicted felon.
They further disclosed that prior to the incident that led to her death, Ambers had been seen with bruises on her neck multiple times.
