A man killed his cousin after she caught him taking inappropriate photos of her young daughter.
58-year-old Brian Farmer, who is a registered sex offender, was caught by his 62-year-old cousin Joan Colbert, molesting her daughter.
The two got into an argument, and Farmer strangled Colbert before killing the girl. Now, he has been charged in the deaths of his cousin and her 10-year-old foster daughter.
Farmer of New Jersey, allegedly strangled his cousin and adopted daughter, after the woman walked into the room and saw him taking photos of the girl without clothes, authorities said.
Police believe that Farmer was taking pictures of the girl as she participated in a sexual act when her adoptive mother entered the home.
Farmer was arrested in Long Branch, two days after the death of Colbert and her daughter Veronica Roach. Police found graphic images of the girl on her cell phone.
Farmer was booked into jail on charges of murder, endangering the welfare of a child and engaging in sexual conduct with a child.
