A man was arrested after he attempted to strangle his 9-year-old son inside his car in order to make it easier for him to marry another woman.
31-year-old Tsubasa Suzuki was charged for attempted murder by strangulation,according to police in Sapporo Japan.
According to the police investigation, Suzuki, a divorced father of one child, was waiting in his car for his son outside school in the afternoon of Monday, June 29, 2015.
Around 3:00 p.m., the father persuaded his son who lives with his mother, to get into his car. On the way home, Suzuki stopped the car on the side of the road and began choking his son, reported World Wide Weird News.
Thankfully, the boy was spared after his father had a rethink although he suffered minor injuries resulting from the encounter.
Suzuki told police during interrogation that he wanted to get rid of the 9-year-old and his mother so he could marry another woman.
