A 48-year-old businessman, Kassim Raheem, was on Friday, December 19, 2014 arrested for allegedly stabbing a co-tenant on the head because he entered the bathroom before him in the Mafoluku, Oshodi area of Lagos state.
The arraigned man was charged to court and is facing a two-count charge of breach of peace and assault before an Oshodi Magistrates’ Court, Lagos.
During the hearing of the case in court, the prosecutor, Cpl. Kehinde Olatunde, disclosed that Raheem stabbed his co-tenant identified as Sunday Awulu on the head on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at their residence for overshadowing him and entering the bathroom when it was his own turn.
“The accused claimed that he kept a bucket of water at the entrance of the bathroom before the complainant entered the place, and that when he complained, Awulu ignored him,” said the prosecutor.
