A man named Mr. Charlie Tetley, 34, had been convicted with a jail term of 12 years after his 26-year-old wife Mrs. Sarah Tetley presented a video evidence to the court showing that he raped her while she was fast asleep.
Mr Tetley pleaded guilty to five counts charges of rape, attempted rape, eight counts of assault by penetration, three counts of sexual assault and 10 counts of making indecent images of children, at the Leicester Crown Court in the United Kingdom.
According to Mail Online, the woman who filed for a divorce immediately after the discovery decided to share her story with hope that other victims of abuse would be encouraged by it.
She disclosed that her husband started acting strangely by constantly controlling his wife and shutting her out of his life shortly after they got married.
It was later that she discovered that he had been raping her all the while without her knowledge. She confided in a neighbour who urged her to report the abuse to the police.
Police officers stormed her home after they were alerted and seized her husband’s laptop, VCR and Xbox and recovered seven external hard drives stashed under a piece of furniture in their bedroom.
They also found shocking images of adult videos and a lot of videos, showing Charlie raping and abusing his wife with household items.
She said, ‘I was told they had found a bunch of videos showing Charlie raping and abusing me.
‘The officer said they were quite disturbing and that I needed to come to the station for an examination and drug testing because of the nature of the assaults and that I appeared to be unconscious in the videos.’
‘A couple of the videos I watched you couldn’t hear me be breathing and I didn’t really appear to be moving at all. I did look like I was dead in some of them.
‘A lot of the videos weren’t just of him but of household objects and things he would decide to do with those, it was quite disturbing.’
