A restaurant owner was arrested on a charge of kidnapping after ordering his employees to kidnap and torture the secret lover of his wife, police in Washington said.
Seattle police said that they arrested Scott Koh, the owner of the Shilla restaurant, after being accused of leading his employees to take revenge against his wife’s secret lover.
According to the police investigation, Chris McMonagle was kidnapped, tortured and Tasered numerous times. McMonagle spent a long time recovering at the Harborview Medical Center following the attack.
Koh believed that McMonagle is responsible for his bad marriage, and he wanted to eliminate him, prosecutors told a court.
Koh and his employees pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping and assault. The judge set their bail at $500,000 each.
