There are some people who think the loom band trend may have gone too far.
The loom band thong, for example, seems a bit much. But who can argue with a bit of charity fundraising?
Postman Patrick Kavanagh, 41, decided to create his own ‘penis pouch’ to raise money for charity, flogging the multi-coloured sheath in an online raffle.
Rather than selling them on eBay, Patrick is offering the chance for people to win one if they donate to St Michael’s Hospice in Hastings via JustGiving.
Winners will be selected at random, but if you’re local Patrick has vowed to deliver the item in person.
He says of his racy pics: ‘My kids think I’m mad, but I love it.
‘I’ve always been in good shape, so I don’t mind posing for pictures. After all, it’s all for a good cause, and they do say that laughter is the best medicine.’
Bruni Llovet, head of marketing at St Michael’s Hospice, said: ‘The hospice is so proud of all the fundraising our supporters do, even the more crazy ones which include abseiling down buildings and walking on fire.’
You can donate via JustGiving or by texting LOOM73 and the amount to 70070.
