Man Reportedly Killed By Thugs Hired By Local Gov’t In Fracas With ‘Okadas’ In Lekki (PHOTO)

It was earlier reported today, Friday, November 28, 2014, that a fight ensued between a group of motorcycle riders popularly known as “Okada” and some thugs hired by one local government chairman in the Eti-Osa, Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos state.

The fight which was started when the “okada” men refused to give up their motorcycles to be confiscated by the hired thugs sent a young man to his early grave following a machete attack behind his head.

The young man whose identity was not known was reportedly rushed to a nearby laboratory and seeing the severity of the case, the laboratory officials called on an ambulance to convey the victim to the hospital and after 3 hours without the sight of any ambulance, the man who probably bled so much gave up the ghost.

The corpse of the victim was pictured in a police van along the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge after the incident.
