A 30-year-old man, Ben Okpokiri, has been arraigned before Magistrate A. M. Davis of the Ogudu Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for allegedly stripping three sisters naked in public and assaulting them.
Okpokiri reportedly committed the sick crime on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at his residence of 28, Ekiti Pupa Street, Oworonshoki area of the state.
During the session in the court, the police prosecutor, Lucky Ihiehie, told how the defendant assaulted the three complainants and stripped them naked in public during a scuffle.
The complainants who were identified as Bukola Afolabi, 25, Deborah Afolabi, 18, and Esther Afolabi, 14, all sisters living at the same compound with the accused.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Section 170 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State which stipulated a maximum of 1 year imprisonment, if found guilty, according to reports.
The defendant was granted bail by the magistrate,in the sum of N120, 000 with two sureties in like sum and an evidence of tax payment and residence for two years which would be presented to the court for verification.
