A male nurse, Charles David, had been accused of having entering the maternity ward of a hospital and urging having sexual intercourse with female patients with claims that it would cure them of High Blood Pressure also known as hypertension.
He was subsequently restricted from entering the maternity ward of and eventually suspended from the Mukonde Clinic, in Zimbabwe.
One of the victims, Shelter Chinyanda, 30, who allegedly contracted HIV from David disclosed to the police that David had met her one day and persuaded her to have sex with him in order that her hypertension would be cured.
According to Worldwide Weird News, she accepted to sleep with him because she was somewhat desperate to have her hypertension cured.
However, she asked David for his HIV result to prove he was free of the virus and he reportedly forged one and presented to her and went ahead to have sex with the poor woman.
The victim later found out that David was positive of the virus as he was taking HIV anti-retroviral drugs to manage the virus.
She had a HIV screening and she was confirmed positive.
David however, refuted the claims stating that the woman only wanted to accuse him falsely because she had contracted HIV from another source.
