The All Progressives Congress, APC, has won all chairmanship positions in the 27 Local Government Areas of Jigawa State in the just concluded Local Government elections in the State.
Adamu Ibrahim, the chairman of the Jigawa State Independent Electoral Commission, disclosed this after the collation of results of the election in Dutse.
He said that candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, won all the chairmanship seats.
The party also won 286 Councillor seats while the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won one seat out of Kiyako Ward of Birninkudu local government which is a ward of the former State Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido.
Voters kept hostage the electoral officials at Kiyako ward over alleged attempt to change the outcome of the results.
