According to reports in the British media, Anfield giants Liverpool have agreed a deal in principle to sign Alexandre Pato in a £14.2million deal.
The Reds are currently with lean options in the striking department as Danny Ings and Daniel Sturridge are both sidelined by injury while Divock Origi has not been at his best.
Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims Liverpool has now moved for Pato and have reached a £14.2m agreement in principle for the 26-year-old.
Pato has previously attracted interest from Everton and Tottenham but will now be expected to join Liverpool when the January transfer window is thrown open.
