English Premier League side, Livepool are looking at securing the signature of Brazilian attacker, Alex Teixeira. The 26-year-old is currently contracted to Ukrainian side, Shaktar Donestk.
Jurgen Klopp is looking to make what will be his first major signing since taking over at Liverpool. Reports have it that the Reds are willing to part with as much as £24.5m for Teixeira.
Teixeira has also been linked to English champions, Chelsea in the current transfer window.
Liverpool are currently short of attacking options as strikers Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings and Divock Origi are all out injured.
Teixeira is currently camping with his Shaktar team mates in Florida. He has scored 22 goals in 15 league games and 4 goals in 10 champions league games this season.
