The Lagos State Police Command on Monday, July 27, 2015 appointed Patricia Amadin, as the new Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command.
The outgoing PPRO, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, who was redeployed to the force headquarters in Abuja, made the disclosure to journalists while presenting his successor .
He said Amadin, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, who is occupying the position in acting capacity was his course mate at Police Academy.
Nwosu further lauded the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria members for the support given him during his six months tenure and implored them to support his successor with similar zeal.
Amadin, in her response, said her new office was a familiar terrain, as she had once worked as Deputy Police PRO in Lagos, adding that she still cherished the friendliness between the command and journalists assigned to cover its activities.
