This year’s theme, COMMUNE, celebrates the spirit of collaboration within Africa’s fashion industry, recognising not only the designers but the extensive network of artisans, seamstresses, and suppliers whose work brings each collection to life.
With a commitment to innovation and sustainability, Lagos Fashion Week is setting a new standard for African fashion by spotlighting the entire creation process, from sourcing sustainable materials to showcasing finished pieces on the runway.
The COMMUNE theme reflects a dedication to a more impactful and environmentally responsible future for African fashion.
Each day of the event presented the rich creativity and craftsmanship of emerging and established designers alike, unveiling collections that speak to Nigeria’s unique style and creative influence on the global stage.
Highlights from Day 3: Cute Saint’s Bold Statement in Color and Craft
Day 3 of Lagos Fashion Week 2024 brought colour and intricate design to the runway.
Among the collections that stood out was Cute Saint, a brand renowned for using bold colours and meticulous detail.
This year, Cute Saint’s collection showcased vibrant hues brought to life through unique stitches and intricate patterns, embodying the designer’s vision of wearable art that celebrates African heritage and contemporary aesthetics.
Other celebrated designers who showcased their creativity on Day 3 included AJANÉÉ, Jewel Jemila, Kilentar, Lady Biba, LSP, and Y Wandelag.
