LAGOS, Nigeria – The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps, LNSC, has apprehended a man accused of vandalising road light indicators on the newly rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge.
The arrest, which took place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, was part of efforts to safeguard critical infrastructure in Nigeria’s bustling metropolis.
The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on New Media, Gawat Jubril, announced the arrest of 46-year-old Friday Nwafor, who was caught with items identified as recently installed reflective lights from the bridge.

Upon his arrest, Nwafor was taken into custody and handed over to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command, Adegoke Fayoade, for further investigation and legal action.
