Spanish club Sevilla have confirmed they have agreed personal terms with Yevhen Konoplyanka of Dnipro.
Both clubs must now agree on a deal before securing his signature pending a medical.
The 25-year-old joined Dnipro in 2006. He featured in his club’s Europa League run to the final last season, before losing 3-2 to Sevilla.
A statement on the Spanish club’s website reads; “Sevilla have reached an agreement with the player, in the absence of a medical and closing a deal with Dnipro,”
Konoplyanka scored eight goals in the Ukrainian Premier League as his side finished third finish on the log. His performance seems to have attracted interest from Atletico Madrid and Liverpool.
Konoplyanka becomes the fourth major signing done by sevilla following deals for Adil Rami, Michael Krohn-Dehli and Gael Kakuta.
