An Arab expatriate who works in Saudi Arabia will spend the next six months in jail, after he was caught kissing a girl in his car.
Before he goes to jail, he must receive 240 lashes of the cane for the audacity of kissing in public.
Kissing in public in Saudi Arabia is strictly illegal and can result in deportation.
According to Emirate247, operatives of the Royal Kingdom’s Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, arrested the man after catching him kissing the girl inside his car close to the beach in the eastern port of Dammam.
Aside the punishment, the police also recommended his deportation to avoid such evil doings in the future, although the request was refused.
