The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) had disclosed that the price of Kerosene in Nigeria would soon be reduced to N50 per litre.
The General Manager of Group Public Affairs Division, of NNPC, Ohi Alegbe made this disclosure on Sunday, January 18, 2015.
The reduction is part of a scheme, Kero Correct’ initiative, devised by the corporation which will eliminate several layers of middlemen and allow the end users benefit from the subsidy on Kerosene.
It could be recalled that the Minister of Petroleum, Mrs Diezani Allison-Madueke had announced a drop in the price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS often known as petrol by N10 which by implication places the price at N87 against the previous N97.
