Hellen Sambili, Mogotio MP, was catcalled for the period of Deputy President of Kenya, William Ruto’s visit to her community.
The disorderly crowd shouted down an independent candidate Hellen Sambili when she wanted to make a speech during the Jubilee public meeting.
In particular, the resident Haron Chemaina shouted she had no rights to speak at Jubilee rally. She also added that Sambili must respect residents more than ever as, since 2007, they have been voting for her during two successive terms.
Chemaina asked Sambili to give up and allow residents voting for different Jubilee candidates counting Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.
As Baringo online newspaper has already informed, during party primaries on April 24, 2017, Hellen Sambili lost her Jubilee ticket to Daniel Tuitoek (six thousand votes against 12 thousand votes).
As she told the journalists after the primaries, her some people simply blocked her electorate from voting. The MP added that she would not accept such results.
