Atiku Bagudu, the governor of Kebbi State, has appointed six new district heads.
Hassan Shalla, the commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
The new appointees are Alhaji Sadiq Ibrahim Saad, district head of Birnin Kebbi (Ubandoman Gwandu), Birnin Kebbi Local Government; Alhaji Tukur Bahindi, district head of Bahindin Bahindi, Bagudo Local Government; Alhaji Yakubu Ka’oje, district head of Yamusa, (Sarkin Yamusa), Bagudo Local Government.
Others are Alhaji Buhari Muhammad, district head of Aliero, Aliero Local Government, Alhaji Muhammadu Aliyu, district head of Maiyama (Sarkin Kudun Maiyama), Maiyama Local Government Area; Alhaji Hamza Muhammad, district head of Rafin Zuru, Zuru Local Government.
The commissioner urged the new traditional leaders to work diligently to ensure improved lives of their subjects.
