Katsina youths on Monday, August 16, 2021 staged a protest againstg the rising insecurity in the state.
Agrieved youths in Yantumaki, Danmusa Local Government Area barricaded roads as they call for an end to banditry which has claimed the lives of many residents in the state.
The youths who came out in the numbers set up burn fires along the Katsina/Funtua highway as they engaged in the renewed protest after bandits attacked Amarawa village today, killing two persons and destroying houses and other properties.
The rampaging youths barricaded the highway as early as 6 a.m with unused tyres and debris, the development which disrupted traffic flow on the highway for hours.
