American hip-hop artiste and business mogul, Kanye West recently declared his intention to run for the office of US President come 2020. He made declaration at last weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles and the news immediately went viral offline and online.
Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump told Rolling Stone in an interview published on Wednesday that contrary to public opinion, Kanye is a nice guy and he hopes to run against him someday.
“I saw him and I said, ‘That’s very interesting. I wonder who gave him that idea,'” Trump said in an interview published Wednesday.
“He’s actually a different kind of person than people think. He’s a nice guy. I hope to run against him someday.”

“He said very nice things about me in the past. And he knows my daughter a little bit, Ivanka. And he said very good things about me. Very, very good things. Extremely positive things,” the 69-year-old Trump added.
