Daso’s relatives confirmed to Freedom Radio that she was found lifeless on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, morning after returning to bed post-Sahur, the pre-dawn meal consumed before fasting during Ramadan.

Born on January 17, 1968, in Kano, Daso became a household name in the Hausa film industry, known for her vibrant performances and mastery of comical roles. She debuted in 2000 with the movie “Linzami Da Wuta,” produced by Sarauniya Movies, and her career soared from there.
