Kairos Moment With Apostle Nsikanabasi Ese: The Power Of Grace

Must read

Karios Moments is a weekly devotional published by Apostle Nsikanabasi Ese.

[quote_center]Acts 4:33[/quote_center]

Welcome to another encounter with Jehovah El-Shaddai. Great is our God and greatly to be praised. I declare that you won’t regret this moment with God.

Grace is about the sweetest word in the ears of every believer because we were all saved by His Grace. Grace is better experienced than defined but let’s look at some definitions of the word Grace. Grace is God’s riches at Christ’s expense. Grace is what God offers to man at the course of His son. Grace is the foundation of our salvation (Eph. 2:5-6). Grace is the scent of growth and increase. Everywhere Grace is found, growth happens. Check any business that is not growing and you will see the absence of Grace. The atmosphere of Grace is the atmosphere of growth. Anywhere growth is lacking, Grace is lacking. Grace is the fertilizer of growth, it gives greater yield with little or no labour. Nothing fast tracks growth like grace. In one of our services, God showed me a woman in the congregation who was pregnant but it was not obvious because her belly was flat. The enemies had deflated the belly in a bit to kill the baby but by grace I commanded the belly to grow and the baby to be well positioned for safe delivery and immediately, the belly grew to the amazement of the church. Before the enemy introduces stagnation, he must first aim at eliminating Grace. Nothing remains stagnant where Grace is available.

FIVE FACTS ABOUT GRACE
GRACE IS THE FUEL OF POWER

The salvation of human souls demanded the release of power. Grace gives power to be saved and to be changed. There would be no great salvation if there was no great Grace. Grace is powerful enough to change the status of men from condemned aliens to righteous sons. Where Grace has been released power has been released. Grace is empowerment, enablement and ability. It is not possible to carry Grace and lack power.

GRACE IS VISIBLE (Acts 11:23)

Grace is visible enough to be seen. Anybody that carries Grace can be easily spotted. As a matter of fact, Grace is what distinguishes people; it makes you stand out from the crowd. You know the Grace of God by the result it commands. Grace carries fragrance. Grace is perceivable. After an encounter with the angel, Jacob received so much Grace that his arrival in Laban’s House was the arrival of increase. God blessed Laban with visible blessings at the arrival of Jacob a man of Grace (see Gen 30:27).

GRACE CAN BE CONTINUED AND IT CAN BE DISCONTINUED OR SIEZED (Acts 13:43)

A man who once carried Grace can cease carrying it. What you do to carry Grace you must continue doing it to sustain the Grace. Prophet Elisha’s servant Gehazi enjoyed the Grace upon his master until he deviated from honoring the source of the grace he enjoyed. The Bible says he suffered from leprosy till his death because there was a disconnection from grace. Don’t become a yesterday man. Don’t come to a point where people say he ‘’used to be’’. When grace expires you are a little step to disgrace. Samson lost Grace due to his affair with Delilah and as a result he was plunged into disgrace. In 2018 don’t loose the grace you have.

GRACE CAN BE DISTRIBUTED OR ADMINISTERED (2 Cor 8:19; 1 Peter 4:10)

Grace is like electricity (power) were there are distribution stations. These stations link the rest of the cities to the national grid where they can enjoy electric power supply. There are people who God has given so much Grace to function on earth and the smart thing anybody that lacks grace can do is to connect to such people. In the eastern part of Nigeria, young people who aspire to learn the secrets of business success usually serve under people who have succeeded in business. They don’t mind serving for years and in turn they learn the secrets of success in business. Grace can be imparted. Anyone who lacked Grace can start enjoying the flow of grace when he connects to a person that carries grace. In Rom 1:11 Paul said ‘’For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established’’. The spiritual gift he was talking about is grace. Grace gives establishment in life.

GRACE GROWS (2Peter 3:18)

Grace is in levels and it has the ability to grow. Grace grows by continuous use. When you follow the process you will land in progress. The grace to manage was on Joseph and he used it well. He managed his father’s sheep till he was sold into slavery in Egypt. He continued managing in Portiphar’s house very well till he became a national manager of the economy of Egypt. Also Jacob was another manager. He managed Laban’s flock so well till he could manage his own. There is lifting in Grace. No matter where you see yourself, there is always room for growth.

TWO KEY THINGS ABOUT GRACE

GRACE IS THE GUARANTEE OF EXEMPTION FROM GENERATIONAL DISASTER, CALAMITY OR DISASTER. (Gen 6:6-8)

Grace is a distinguishing mark, it sets you apart and distinguishes you out from the rest. According to Genesis 6, every living thing on earth was marked for destruction but the bible says Noah found Grace and was exempted. Grace gives you a chance at good things when others have no chance. Grace makes you prevail when others travail. Grace gives you ease and ceases distress. Grace keeps you up when others are down. Grace is what exempts a man from dying when other travelers die of road accident. Grace makes your case to be different. I declare upon you as Grace found Noah and exempted him from destruction, this year Grace will find you and delete your name from the hit list of the enemy. Noah kind of Grace is upon you. You will escape the economic hardship in your nation.

GRACE IS THE GUARANTEE OF SUPERNATURAL FAVOUR (Gen. 39:4)

Grace gives you what you did not ask for. Grace places you in a position you did not lobby for. It places you in a position you are not qualified for. During one of our services, I was led to give a young man a prophetic word. I told him that I see him have a great job offer that others are scrambling and paying heavy amounts to have and that the job will change his financial status. I said that the job is based on slot and that I am giving him the Kairos slot. A few weeks later, the young man returned to testify that before the prophecy came, he had applied for a job and was told he had no chance at getting the job since it was based on recommendation from top government officers and he had no such connection. But to his shock, he received a call from them few days after the prophecy telling him to start work immediately. This was nothing but Grace at work. Grace makes you a mystery to your generation. People wonder what you did to be so favored and blessed. Grace makes you the favorite of God.

THE SECRET OF GRACE

THE DESIRE AND DETERMINATION TO PLEASE GOD.

The decision and the determination to be different from the rest gives you access to grace. Determination not to follow the crowd, determination not to compromise, determination not to mingle with sin; this is what secures you a slot in the school of Grace. It is possible to be amongst the mighty and not on the Lord’s side. Don’t regularize, be on the Lord’s side. Don’t be found with the crowd or you will be lost in the crowd. Don’t be mentored be unbelievers. When will your appearance rebuke the sinners? That you have support from few people over a wrong decision does not translate to you having God’s support. The majority sometimes does not carry the vote. The question is this: Is God regretting or is He excited that he made you?

THE SENSE OF HELPLESSNESS (II Corin. 12:7)

Personal sense of helplessness attracts the Grace of God. When we are down to nothing, God is up to something. When you see your inability, weakness and frailty, God makes His might seen in your life. God cannot do much with the boastful. Pride goeth before a fall. The Bible says God resisteth the proud but giveth more Grace to the simple. Humility and simplicity in life attracts the Grace of God. If you want the strength of God, refuse to depend on your strength.

GENEROSITY

Generosity toward God and towards men brings you unending Grace. To eat is to die but to give is to live. The widow told Elijah that she wants to eat and then die ( See I Kings 17:7 – 16). Any man that is selfish always finds it difficult to have the support of people around him. Giving opens doors for Grace to enter our lives.

Today by the audacity of Grace I carry, I connect you to the unending flow of God’s Grace. This year, Grace shall speak for you.
