A terrorist bomb went off this morning, July 1, 2014 in a busy Maiduguri market.
Coming a day into the Muslim Ramadan period, no group is yet to claim responsibility, but it is widely believed that this is the work of dreaded Islamist sect, Boko Haram.
The bomb killed an undisclosed number of people, according to reports and injured scores.
