Lagos State government has declared Friday, February 6, 2015 a work free day.
This is to enable resident who are yet to get their Permanent Voters card to obtain them ahead of the forthcoming general elections scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 14, 2015.
The government hopes that this development is part of efforts taken by the administration to ensure a credible election.
This is coming days after the Independent National Electoral Commission extended the deadline for the collection of the Permanent Voters Cards till Saturday, February 8, 2015.
