The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu.
In a motion moved by Nnaemeka Anyanwu (Imo State) and signed by 81 senators, the Senate reaffirmed the election of Saraki and Ekweremadu as well as their principal officers.
According to reports, there was no opposing voice in the voting.
