Unconfirmed reports have it that the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has resigned his post with immediate effect.
The Trent has been unable to independently verify the story.
The report also claimed that President Goodluck Jonathan has requested for the resignation of the Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT), Tony Anenih.
Vanguard further reports that the national Vice Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus has stepped in to act in the capacity of Chairman.
